This Privacy Policy explains how the Personal Finance Dashboard ("the Application") collects, uses, stores, and

deletes financial information. The Application is a private, single-user tool operated by Matthew Jiampietro to

aggregate and view his own financial accounts for personal budgeting and record keeping.

1. Information we collect

When an account is connected through Plaid Link, the Application receives financial data from the connected

financial institution via the Plaid API. Depending on the connected account, this may include:

• Account balances and account details
• Transaction history
• Investment holdings
• Liabilities (loan and credit data)
• Account ownership / identity information on file with the institution
• Bank-provided statements

We do not collect this data for anyone other than the operator, who is the sole user of the Application.

2. How we use the information

The information is used only to:

• Display balances, transactions, spending, investments, and liabilities in the Application
• Produce personal budgeting, cash-flow, and record-keeping insights for the operator

We do not sell, rent, or share this data with any third party for advertising or marketing, and we do not use

it for any purpose beyond the personal financial management described above.

3. Consent

Financial accounts are connected only through Plaid Link, where the user explicitly authorizes the connection

and the specific data to be shared. No account data is collected without the user first granting consent through

Plaid Link. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by disconnecting the account (see Section 7).

4. Third parties

• Plaid Inc. provides the secure connection to financial institutions and delivers the data to the

Application. Plaid's handling of end-user data is governed by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy

(https://plaid.com/legal/#end-user-privacy-policy).

• Cloudflare provides hosting, storage, and network security for the Application.

No other third parties receive the financial data.

5. How we store and protect the information

• Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS 1.2 or higher).
• Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which is encrypted at rest, and sensitive fields are additionally

encrypted at the application layer (AES-256-GCM).

• Access is restricted to the operator's multi-factor-authenticated accounts.

6. Data retention

Financial data is retained only as long as needed to operate the Application for the operator, and is governed by

the Application's Data Retention and Deletion Policy. Data is deleted when an account is disconnected or upon

request (see Section 7).

7. Your rights and choices

The user may at any time:

• Disconnect a financial account, which stops further data collection and triggers deletion of the stored data

for that account and revocation of the associated Plaid access token.

• Request deletion of all stored data.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the Application. Material changes will be reflected by updating

the effective date above.
